Join us for a 3-day online retreat designed to help you immerse yourself in the world of vipassana meditation. It has been carefully created to allow you to dive deeper with your practice in a short span of time, and give you the support and experience you need to develop and enrich your practice.
It includes a one-to-one session before the retreat for exploring and clarifying your intentions for practice.
There will be three experienced teachers available, offering formal meditation instruction and guidance, one-to-one interviews, group sharing, and a daily schedule of sitting and walking meditation.

Practice
Vipassana is a traditional form of Buddhist meditation which has the aim of giving profound insight into the nature of the self and ultimate reality. Together we’ll explore simple and powerful forms of mindfulness meditation that reveal hidden aspects of our conscious experience, and can lead to deeper understanding, connection with life, and peace. Come with an open mind and a willingness to explore. Any and all previous experience with meditation welcome.
Teachers
David Lassiter has a deep love for exploring the mind and consciousness. He has spent over 18 months on intensive meditation retreat, primarily in the Theravada Buddhist tradition. David recently returned to the West after five years practicing and studying meditation in Nepal, India, and Thailand.
Rosa Lewis is a meditation teacher, spiritual coach and shaman who has a background in a wide range of meditative and spiritual practices. She is passionate about the importance of human connection and embracing the full range of thoughts and emotions in practice to transform our relationship to life. Rosa enjoys helping people to understand themselves, clarify their intentions for life and find practices that resonate with this. Her teaching focuses mostly on interpersonal practices and heart-opening meditation.
Joost Vervoort is the founder of the meditation community Dharmagarage that offers daily sits. He has a background in Rinzai zen practice (shikantaza and koans/self-enquiry), but has developed familiarity with an eclectic range of practice approaches. Vipassana has become an important part of his practice over the years. Joost is also a sustainability researcher and is interested in how Buddhist conceptions of interdependence relate to ecological thought.

We will schedule a pre-retreat one-to-one with all retreatants. If you have been with us on retreat before this will be 30 minutes, if you are new this will be 90 minutes. We’ll be in touch to book a time that suits you.

Participation
In keeping with Buddhist tradition, this event is offered on the basis of dana, which means generosity. The recommended donation is $50-100, but please offer what feels right to you – a donation is not required to join.
