Guided Meditation – Noting Awareness Itself
David Lassiter and I journey through the experience of the mind. This turned into a 2hr+ exploration of awareness and discussion about whether experience arises in the mind or whether mind is an ingredient of experience.
If you’re looking for quick answers or a pithy podcast, this is not for you. I decided not to edit it into an audio file and just share the full-length video, so that you can come on the adventure with us. The result is somewhere between a guided journey and a slow and explorative conversation, with a bit of absurdity sprinkled in.
The content of the discussion is obviously relevant, but it is as much an example of how it is possible to communicate when you have an open mind – maintaining openness, curiosity and a sense of being in it together, even when there are disagreements and differences.
If you’d like to to join us, I’d recommend finding a comfy spot where you can sit back, close your eyes and relax.
